Fête de la Chanson 11: Confirmation

Góðan dag! This is the official page for country selection for the eleventh edition of Fête de la Chanson. Country reservation began at 19:00 CET on 12 December and will continue through 23:59 on 22 December. You can reserve your country through email and email only. The contest email is fetedelachanson@gmx.com. Only submissions to the contest email address will be recognized. When sending your country selection, send your top three choices, ranked from your first to your third choice. 1. I hope that many people will be in mood for gloomy stuff when casting their votes. Does anyone have an idea how we can get Max into gloomy mood? 😉 🙂

    • That’s the first song I ever danced to on a dancefloor. 🙂 It was in the club of the Hotel Alfa Mar near Albufeira in 1983. My older sister used violence to drag me onto the dancefloor because she knew that I loved the song. (And because she wanted to set me up with a French girl I had a crush on …)
Sweet memories of innocent times …

      • Trying to remember which was the one I danced to it on a dancefloor for the first time 🙂

      • You probably weren’t insecure and in love with a French girl at the time then. If you had been, you would remember instantly. If your initiation to the dancefloor had been a “look how hot I am” courtship performance, you would not have forgotten that terribly stressful moment. 😉 🙂

      • My dance was quite successful btw. Probably that’s the reason too why I became a go-go dancer a couple of years later when I had run out of money in terribly expensive London …
